Marvin Ezhan is a passionate advocate for youth leadership development and social change. Before graduating from Bridgewater State University with a Communications degree, he became a mentor with FAM (formerly known as Fam for Change), an innovative mentoring program for students facing barriers. This experience strengthened Marvin’s commitment to working with youth and becoming an activist for social change.
Marvin’s dedication to social justice led him to lead a region-wide summit called “Co-Creating Equity And Justice: Student And Employee Partnerships For Racial Justice,” which supported the success of males of color around the state of Massachusetts.
Since then, Marvin has strived to make a difference in the lives of young people by working as a therapeutic mentor, case manager, YouthBuild instructor, and program coordinator. He is also a highly sought-after motivational public speaker to students, inspiring them to overcome obstacles and reach their full potential.
Marvin is now back with FAM as Program Director, where he is passionate about creating opportunities for young people to develop leadership skills and succeed in life. He is also the co-founder of “Double M Media,” where he hosts podcasts and events that center on sports, culture, and giving back to the community. Through his work, Marvin strives to control the narrative from a different perspective than mainstream media.
