Outpatient Therapy
Outpatient Therapy
FAM’s Outpatient Therapy services are provided to youth (under the age of 21) in a safe and supportive clinical setting, either in person or via telehealth. Therapy sessions are designed to meet the individual needs of each client and may include individual, family, or group counseling. Services are culturally and linguistically appropriate and focus on supporting emotional well-being, addressing behavioral and mental health challenges, and fostering personal growth and resilience.
Outpatient Therapy services include supporting, guiding, and providing clinical intervention to youth in:
- Age-appropriate behaviors
- Interpersonal communication skills
- Problem-solving abilities
- Conflict resolution strategies
- Healthy and appropriate relationships with peers, family members, and other adults
Outpatient Therapy services at FAM are designed to help children and teens successfully navigate various social contexts, build new skills, and make meaningful emotional and behavioral progress. Therapists engage youth in guided discussions and clinical interventions that support the development of healthy coping strategies, emotional regulation, and effective communication with peers and adults.
These services provide a structured and supportive space for youth to explore personal challenges, gain insight, and develop tools to overcome obstacles they face in everyday life. Through individualized therapy sessions, FAM clinicians model, teach, and reinforce skills that promote emotional growth, self-awareness, and positive social interaction.
By creating a therapeutic environment grounded in trust and cultural understanding, FAM therapists work collaboratively with youth to build resilience and improve functioning across home, school, and community settings.
